Saturday, June 8 Inspiration can be drawn from a farmers’ market which is what we set out to do with our new market cooking classes. We’ll meet at Intentional Table at 9AM sharp before heading directly to the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market and buying our ingredients for the day’s lunch. You’ll meet farmers, pick out produce, bread, and proteins, and enjoy a few tastes along the way. After shopping, we’ll head back to Intentional Table to enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee before preparing dishes with the bounty we’ve purchased. You’ll learn how to work with what you find at the market, rather than being dependent on recipes, to cook the best of the season. The morning instruction will depend on what looks great at the market that day. But you’ll be able to look forward to a three course lunch, served with just the right wine pairing. Lunch and wine included. |
